Roads Act 1993, Section 75

 

Proposed Temporary Closure of

Cooldrinagh Cross, Co. Dublin

 

 

 

To facilitate Circet Networks Ireland Ltd to reinstate mastic around chambers and gullies and also to reinstate speed bump, South Dublin County Council propose to temporarily close a section of the following road:

 

Road Name:             Cooldrinagh Cross

           

From :                        Monday 23rd March 2026                         

 

To:                              Wednesday 25th March 2026                                

 

Time of Closure:           7:00am to 7:00pm   

 

Detour Route:         Traffic will travel south on the R-835-17 to the junction with the L1030, where the route will turn east along Shackleton drive to the junction with the new link road where the route will turn north to the junction with the R403 where the road will turn north west to the junction with the L-5001-2 where the route will turn east onto the L-5001-2.

 

 

 

  • Local access will be maintained.

  • 24hr emergency access to be maintained at all times.

 

 

Any person interested may lodge an observation/submission in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Land Use, Planning and Transportation, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24 or by email to seoroads@sdublincoco.ie no later than 5.00 p.m. on Monday 9th March 2026.
