Temporary Closure of L5257, Old Nangor Road

Clondalkin, Dublin 22

To facilitate Adwood Ltd. to carry out essential roadworks, drainage and lighting upgrade works at Kilcarbery Grange, South Dublin County Council has made an order to temporarily close a section of the following road:

Road Name:                  L5257 Old Nangor Road (from junction with Rowan Green Kilcarbery Grange to junction of St Cuthberts Road). 

From:                                  Monday 10th November 2025.

To:                                      Sunday 7th December 2025.

Time of Closure:                   24hrs daily.

Detour route:                       

from the East side of the closure:

• Continue along the Old Nangor Road
• Turn right onto Corkagh Grange Avenue
• Turnright onto Ash Ro Turn right onto Kilcarbery Grange Road,
• Turn Left onto Kilcarbery Grange Avenue
• Turn right onto Rowan Green
•  Continue to end of the road.

The above is reversed for traffic travelling from the West of the closure.

 Local access to be maintained at all times.

• 24 hr emergency access to be maintained.
