Roads Act 1993, Section 75

 

Proposed Temporary Closure of L5257, Old Nangor Road

 

Clondalkin Dublin 22

 

To facilitate Adwood Ltd. to carry out essential roadworks, drainage and lighting upgrade works at Kilcarbery Grange, South Dublin County Council propose to temporarily close a section of the following road:

 

Road Name:                           L5257 Old Nangor Road (from junction with Rowan Green                                                            Kilcarbery Grange to junction of St Cuthberts Road).

 

From:                                      Monday 10th November 2025.

                                               

To:                                          Sunday 7th December 2025.

 

Time of Closure:                   24hrs daily.

 

Detour route:                        from the East side of the closure:

-                                          Continue along the Old Nangor Road

-                                          Turn right onto Corkagh Grange Avenue

-                                           Turn right onto Ash Road

-                                           Turn right onto Kilcarbery Grange Road,

-                                            Turn Left onto Kilcarbery Grange Avenue

-                                             Turn right onto Rowan Green

-                                              Continue to end of the road.

-       The above is reversed for traffic travelling from the West of the closure.

 

 

  • Local access to be maintained at all times.
  • 24 hr emergency access to be maintained.

 

 

Any person interested may lodge an observation/submission in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Land Use, Planning and Transportation, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24 or by email to seoroads@sdublincoco.ie no later than 5.00 p.m. on 3rd November 2025.
