Roads Act 1993, Section 75

Proposed Temporary Closure of sections of Templeogue Road (R137), Rathfarnham Road (R114), Dodder View Road (R112) and Springfield Avenue, Co. Dublin

To facilitate the Rathfarnham WSAF Athletic Club to hold the Rathfarnham 5K Road Race and Juvenile races, South Dublin County Council propose to temporarily close sections of the following roads:

Road Name:            Dodder View Road, Rathfarnham (both lanes) leading onto Rathfarnham Road (left lane towards city), Templeogue Road (Left Lane only towards Templeogue Road Village), slip lane to Springfield Avenue and Springfield Avenue to Fairways Junction.

Date of Closure:     Sunday 28th September 2025                   

Time of Closure:    8:30am to 10:30am 

Local access will be maintained.

Any person interested may lodge an observation/submission in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Land Use, Planning and Transportation, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24 or by email to seoroads@sdublincoco.ie not later than 5.00 p.m. on Monday 8th September  2025.
