Roads Act 1993, Section 75

 

Proposed Temporary Closure  Calmount Road/Ballymount Road Upper.

 

In order for Gas Networks Ireland to carry out gas works/reinstatement, South Dublin County Council propose to temporarily close Calmount Road from the Tear Drop roundabout to the junction of Ballymount Road Upper from Monday 17th April to Friday 28th April 7:00pm to 6:00am nightly (2 weeks). Monday to Friday only.

 

 

Detour:

 

Traffic wishing to travel south bound from Ballymount Road Upper:

 

  • Take 1st exit onto Calmount Road – take 3rd exit at the roundabout onto Ballymount Ave – turn right onto Ballymount Road Upper

 

Traffic wishing to travel westbound on Calmount Road:

 

  • Take first exit onto Ballymount Ave – turn right onto Ballymount Rd Upper

 

 

Local access will be maintained.

 

 

Any person interested may lodge an observation/submission in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Land Use, Planning and Transportation, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24 or by email to seoroads@sdublincoco.ie not later  5.00 p.m. on Monday 3rd April 2023.
