Public Notice of Proposed Traffic Calming Measures in Rowlagh/St Marks/Glenfield, Clondalkin.
Pursuant to the requirements of the above, notice is hereby given of the proposed provision by South Dublin County Council of the above scheme and a description of the proposed works follows:
The proposed works consist of the following:
Rowlagh Estate
1. Junction improvement at entrance to Rowlagh Park.
2. Provision of 21 standard traffic calming ramps.
3. Associated road signage.
St Marks Estate
1. Provision of 25 standard traffic calming ramps.
2. Associated road signage.
Glenfield Estate
1. Construction of traffic islands on;
a) Glenfield Drive at its junction with St Marks Avenue
b) Glenfield Avenue at its junction with St Marks Avenue.
2. Provision of 7 standard traffic calming ramps.
3. Associated road signage.
Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection at:
(a) South Dublin County Council Offices, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24.
From 9.00am– 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and from 9.00am -4.30pm each Friday.
(b) South Dublin County Council Civic Offices, Ninth Lock Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 From 10.00am– 12.45pm and 2.00pm–4.00pm Monday to Friday.
(c) Clondalkin Library, Monastery Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22.
From 9.45am- 8.00pm Monday to Thursday and from 9.45am – 4.30pm Friday and Saturday.
From Thursday 8th June 2006 to Friday 7th July 2006.
Written submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be situated may be made in writing before 4.30pm on Friday 21st July 2006 to The Senior Executive Officer, Roads and Traffic Department, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Town Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24.
