Although Basketball can bring each of us many benefits, physical activity been the main one, it can also teach us valuable lessons that we can use in many areas of our life. The lesson is Teamwork. A team player understands what it means to strive for common goals, share power, take risks and support others’ efforts. Sport can mean so much more than just physical activity.
Here at South Dublin County Council we are strongly involved in the promotion and development of sport and recreation for the benefit of our community. We are delighted to host this initiative and look forward to hosting many more for the enjoyment and well-being of our community.
