Proposed Temporary Closure of roads in Tallaght for Saint Patrick’s Day Parade

 

To facilitate the Tallaght St. Patrick's Day Parade, South Dublin County Council propose to temporarily close the following roads in the Tallaght Area on Tuesday 17th March 2020 from 12.00pm to 3.00pm. 

Roads to be closed  

  1. Old Blessington Road from the Belgard Road to the junction with Main Street Tallaght. 
  2. Main Street Tallaght from the junction with the Old Blessington Road to its junction with the Greenhills Road. 
  3. Greenhills Road from the junction with Main Street Tallaght to Airton Road. 
  4. Old Bawn Road from its junction with the N81 (Tallaght By-Pass) to Tallaght Main Street. 

Alternative Routes: -

Via

N81, Airton Road 

Detour signs will be erected.

Local Access will be maintained at all times. 

Any person interested may lodge observations/submissions with the Senior Executive Officer, Land Use, Planning and Transportation, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24 not later than 5.00p.m on Tuesday 18th February 2020.
