Public Notice of
Proposed Traffic Calming Measures in Cherrywood & Oldchurch, Clondalkin
Pursuant to the requirements of the above, notice is hereby given of the proposed provision by South Dublin County Council of the above scheme and a description of the proposed works follows:
The proposed works will consist of the following:
1. The provision of twenty-two (22) standard traffic calming ramps
2. The provision of seven (7) bus cushion ramps on Old Nangor Road
3. Replacement of two existing ramps
4. The provision of five full width ramps
5. The construction of junction build outs at Oldchurch Way
6. The construction of build out on Cherrywood Crescent
7. Modify existing roundabout on Old Nangor Road/Cherrywood Crescent
8. Junction improvements at New Nangor Road/Cherrywood Crescent
9. The creation of a cul de sac and associated turning bay on Cherrywood Drive
and
10. Associated Road Signage

Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection
at:
(a) South Dublin County Council Offices, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24.
from 9.00am– 12.45pm and 2.00pm–5.00pm Monday to Thursday and from
9.00am-12.45pm and 2.00pm-4.30pm each Friday.
(b) Clondalkin Library, Monastery Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22.
From 9.45am- 20.00pm Monday to Thursday and from 9.45am – 16.30pm Friday
and Saturday.
(c) South Dublin County Council, Civic Offices, Ninth Lock Road, Clondalkin,
Dublin 22.
From 9.00am– 12.45pm and 2.00pm–5.00pm Monday to Thursday and from
9.00am-12.45pm and 2.00pm-4.30pm each Friday.
From Thursday 4th March 2004 to Tuesday 6th April 2004.
Written submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development
dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in
which the development would be situated may be made in writing before
4.30pm on Friday 23rd April 2004 to The Senior Executive Officer,Roads and Traffic
Department, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Town Centre, Tallaght,
Dublin 24.
