Temporary Closure of Old Naas Road (Tootenhill Access Road) at Junction with N7 Southbound

In order to facilitate the reconfiguration and widening of the N7 Southbound as part of the N7 widening and interchange scheme, South Dublin County Council proposes to temporarily close a section of the Old Naas Road (Tootenhill Access Road) at its junction with N7 Southbound from Monday 27th March 2006 to Friday 30th June 2006, both dates inclusive.

Alternative routes are:    
Naas Road Southbound via Windmill Road (Windmill Hill Road), Rathcoole Main Street (adjacent to An Poicin Stil Pub), Naas Road N7 Southbound

Naas Road Eastbound via    Windmill Road (Windmill Hill Road), Rathcoole Main Street, Rathcoole Interchange, Naas Road N7 Eastbound

Tootenhill via    Naas Road N7 (At An Poicin Stil Pub), Windmill Road (Windmill Hill Road), Whitestown Lane.

Diversion signs will be erected.

Local access will be maintained at all times.

Any person interested may lodge an objection with the Senior Executive Officer, Roads Department, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Town Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24 not later than 5.00 p.m. on Wednesday 15th March 2006.

It should be noted that the Freedom of Information Act applies to all records held by South Dublin County Council.
