Re:  Roads Act, 1993 Section 75

Re: Temporary Closure of East Bound Ramps at Rathcoole Interchange

In order to enable the reconfiguration of the on/off ramps as part of the current N7 Widening and Interchange Scheme, South Dublin County Council proposes to temporarily close the east bound ramps at Rathcoole interchange from Saturday 17^th September to Saturday 15^th October 2005, both dates inclusive.

 

The alternative route is via                    

Length of detour is approximately 2.5km.

The three lane configuration of the N7 will operate in the east bound carriageway from Tay Lane and tie into existing three lane operation of the east end of the site.

Existing capacity will be maintained and Dublin bound traffic will not be altered or have additional merging traffic.

Diversion signs will be erected.

Local access will be maintained at all times.

Any person interested may lodge an objection with the Senior Executive Officer, Roads Department, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Town Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24 not later than 5.00 p.m. on Monday 5^th September 2005.

It should be noted that the Freedom of Information Act applies to all records held by South Dublin County Council.
