Bawnogue Permeabilty Scheme

Work has commenced on the Bawnogue Permeability Scheme. The scheme involves the construction of a cycle and pedestrian path system at Alpine Heights and Ashwood estates at Bawnogue, Clondalkin linking up Bawnogue Road and Fonthill Road. The scheme is illustrated in the accompanying map. Works will involve the removal the removal of topsoil, the laying of foot / cycle path, the breaking of two area of wall and railing and the reconstruction of the wall edges and installation of bollard/s at each location. The foot / Cycle paths will have public lighting and ducts will be installed for future CCTV requirements. The development is in accordance with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area. Construction is scheduled to complete end of August 2019.
