Proposed new works

 

Public Consultation Procedure

Under Part VIII of the Local Government

(Planning and Development) Regulations 2001

 

Pursuant to the requirements of the above, notice is hereby given by South Dublin County Council of a proposal to construct the following:

 

A County Arts Centre

Adjoining the County Library at Town Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24.

 

The proposed development, of four/ five storeys and 2645 m² in area, has been agreed through the Council’s Strategic Policy Committee on Arts, Culture, An Gaeilge, Education and Libraries and will include the following facilities;

 

  • Arts Workshop
  • Music rehearsal /Tuition Rooms
  • Artists Studios
  • Café
  • Multi media Rooms
  • Performance Space
  • Exhibition Gallery

 

Drawings of the proposed development are on display at the Headquarters of South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Town Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24,at the County Library, Town Centre, Tallaght Dublin 24 and at the Civic Offices, Civic Centre, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, during normal working hours until the 6th April 2005 at 5.00 pm. They are also available on the Council’s website www.southdublin.ie

Submissions or observations with respect to this matter dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be situated may be made in writing on or before 5pm on the 20thApril 2005 to,
