Public Notice of
PROPOSED JUNCTION
IMPROVEMENT OF
BALLINASCORNEY LANE
(CULLENS LANE) WITH R114
FROM BRITTAS TO OLDBAWN.
Pursuant to the requirements of the above, notice is hereby given of the proposal to improve
Ballinascorney Junction as described below:
1 Re-align and widen the lane from 3m to 6m over a 50m length ;
2 Improve the junction with the main road ;
3 Erect 250m of temporary timber post and wire fencing ;
4 Excavate and shape the existing cut slopes to provide the required sight line distances over
90m either side of the junction ;
5 Excavate and form 240m of new stormwater drains to top of reworked cut slopes ;
6 Place Topsoil and Turfing to new Earthworks Surfaces ;
7 Erect 310m of permanent Timber Post and wire fencing ;
8 Provide Traffic Signs and Road Marking ;
Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection at:
(a) South Dublin County Council Offices, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24 between the hours
of 9:00 am – 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00am - 4.30pm on Friday,
(b) County Library, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24 between the hours of 9.45am-8.00pm
Monday to Thursday and 9.45am - 4.30pm Friday and Saturday,
(c) South Dublin County Council Civic Offices, Ninth Lock Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22.
between the hours of 10.00am - 12.45pm and 2.00pm - 4.00pm Monday to Friday.
From Thursday 21st October 2004 – Monday 2nd November 2004
Written submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be situated, may be made in writing before 4.30 p.m. on Monday 6th December 2004 to
