Proposed Improvement Works to the existing all weather pitch at Esker Park, Griffeen Valley, Lucan,  Co. Dublin

Notice is hereby given that it is proposed to undertake improvement works to the existing all weather pitch in Esker Park, Griffeen Valley, Lucan as follows

• Install a new synthetic surface comprising a synthetic sand filled carpet to replace the existing Whinstone dust surface.

• Enlarge the pitch by extending at the Western end by a distance of approximately 8 metres and by approximately 5 metres at the Eastern end.  

• Relocate the existing pedestrian and vehicular gates.

• Install a new 6m high fence in place of the existing.

• Install a new spectator fence between the perimeter fence and the playing area.

• Construct two areas of approximately 12 x 3m on the Western and Eastern ends of the pitch to accomodate storage/equipment from time to time.

Plans and particulars of this proposed development will be on display  i from the 15th March 2006 until the 18th April 2006 at the following locations:

9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. (Monday - Thurs), 9.00 a.m. - 4.30 p.m. (Friday only)    
    
Lucan Library
Monday – Thursday  9.45 a.m. - 8.00 p.m., Friday and Saturday  9.45 a.m. - 4.30 p.m.    

Lucan Sports and Leisure Centre
Monday – Wednesday 8 a.m. – 10 p.m., Tuesday – Thursday 9 a.m. – 10 p.m.
                    
Civic Offices, Clondalkin
Monday - Friday 10.00 a.m. to 12.45, 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.

Submissions and observations with respect to this proposal, dealing with the proper planning and development of the area in which the development is to take place may be made in writing to:
