NOTICE OF REGISTRATION OF QUARRIES

 

 

South Dublin County Council hereby gives notice that the following quarries have been registered in accordance with Section 261 of the Planning and Development Act, 2000 (as amended).

Planning permission has not been granted for this quarry.

The Planning Authority is considering requiring the making of a planning application and the preparation of an environmental impact statement in respect of the quarry in accordance with subsection (7) of Section 261 of the Act.

Roadstone Dublin Ltd., Belgard Quarry, Fortunestown, Tallaght, Dublin 24.

Planning permission has been granted for this quarry.

The Planning Authority is considering restating, modifying, or adding to, conditions imposed on the operation of the quarry in accordance with subsection (6) of Section 261 of the Act.

Roadstone Dublin Ltd., De Selby Quarry, Townlands of Corbally & Lugmore, Saggart, Co. Dublin .

 

Planning permission has not been granted for this quarry.

The Planning Authority is considering requiring the making of a planning application and the preparation of an environmental impact statement in respect of the quarry in accordance with subsection (7) of Section 261 of the Act.

L. Behan & Sons Ltd., Windmill Hill, Rathcoole, Co. Dublin .

Planning permission has not been granted for this quarry.

The Planning Authority is considering requiring the making of a planning application and the preparation of an environmental impact statement in respect of the quarry in accordance with subsection (7) of Section 261 of the Act.

Kilsaran Concrete, Ballinascorney, Brittas, Co. Dublin .

Planning permission has been granted for this quarry.

The Planning Authority is considering restating, modifying, or adding to, conditions imposed on the operation of the quarry in accordance with subsection (6) of Section 261 of the Act.

 

The following quarry has not been registered as the Planning Authority consider that it does not come within the scope of Section 261 of the Planning and Development Act, 2000.

Planning permission has not been granted for this quarry.

The Planning Authority consider that this quarry does not come within the scope of subsection 11 of Section 261 of the Act.

The Planning Register, which gives details of the above quarries, may be inspected at the offices of the Planning Department, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24, from 9.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m. on each working day and the applications are available to view on the Council’s website www.southdublin.ie

 

 

Submissions or observations regarding the operation of the above quarries may be made to the planning authority within 4 weeks from the date of publication of this notice, and should be addressed to Paddy McNamara, Administrative Officer, Planning Department, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24, or by e-mail to pmcnamara@sdublincoco.ie. The latest date for receipt of submissions is 5.00 p.m. on Wednesday, 16th November, 2005 to either of the addresses above.
