Proposed Development Urban and Village Renewal Programme
Notice under Part 8 of the Local Government (Planning and Development) Regulations 2001/2003

South Dublin County Council Offices, Pursuant to the requirements of the above, notice is hereby given of the proposal to construct the following:

The Tallaght ‘ZIP’ Project at Old Blessington Road, Tallaght, Dublin 24

The creation of a pedestrian priority amenity corridor from the Civic Theatre to the student gate of Institute of Technology, Tallaght., comprising:

the widening and realignment of footpaths and junctions (including the elimination of a roundabout), street lighting, street furniture & planting
The works to include new landscaped areas, and all necessary associated ancillary works.

Drawings of the proposed development are on display at:
 
(i) County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24, between the hours of 9.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 9.00 am – 4.30 pm on Friday,

(ii) Clondalkin Civic Offices, Civic Centre, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, between the hours of 10.00 am and 4.00 pm Monday to Friday

until close of business on Monday 10th October, 2005.

Submissions or observations with respect to this matter dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be situated, may be made in writing to:
