Re: Roads Act, 2004, Section 9
Re: Speed Limit – N4 (
South Dublin County Council proposes to amend the existing speed limit of 60 km/h to 80 km/h in accordance with the procedures set out in Section 9 of the Road Traffic Act 2004, on a section of the Galway Road (N4) as follows:
Start of proposed 80 km/h on West Bound Carriageway 425m South West of M50/N4 junction for a distance of 1680 metres.
Start of proposed 80 km/h on East Bound carriageway 720m South West of N4 Ballydowd (Woodies) Interchange for a distance of 1680m.
Changes to on and off ramps at N4/Liffey Valley Interchange to 80 km/h where appropriate.
The speed limit is being amended to provide a safer movement of traffic on this
A Draft Bye-Law showing the proposed speed limit amendment may be inspected at the Roads Department, South Dublin County Council, Civic Offices, Town Centre, Tallaght Dublin 24 from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30p.m. Monday to Friday and 2.00pm to 5.00 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 2.00pm. to 4.30p.m. Friday from Tuesday 29th March 2005 to Tuesday 26th April 2005.
