Proposed new works

Public Consultation Procedure

Under Part V111 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001

 

Pursuant to the requirements of the above, notice is hereby given of the proposal to carry out the following works:

 

The remodelling of two plazas and linking footpaths in the centre of Tallaght Village, Dublin 24.

 

Plaza no. 1 - To remove existing paving, planter, plinth and traffic island while retaining existing sculpture in position.

To re-form levels, steps and ramps in new confirguration.

 

Plaza no. 2 – To remove existing paving/soft landscape and replace with new paving layout.

 

Both Plazas – To provide new public lighting, seating, planting, bollards, handrails.

 

Footpaths – remove existing paving and provide new paving and kerb to footpath on both sides of street linking plazas.

 

Drawings of the proposed development are on display at the Headquarters of South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Town Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24 and Civic Offices, Civic Centre, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 between the hours of 9am – 5pm Monday to Thursday and from 9am – 4.30pm on Friday until Monday 16th August, 2004 at 4.30p,m.

Submissions or observations with respect to this matter dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be situated may be made in writing to:

up to and including Monday 30th August, 2004 at 4.30pm.
