To all Community Linkage Fund Applicants:

 

 

The call for applications under the IAP Community Linkage Funds has been very successful.   Two separate Funds  - one each for Tallaght and Clondalkin, were launched at the end of March 2004 and the closing date for receipt of applications was mid-May 2004.   The funding is €400,000 for Tallaght and €200,000 for Clondalkin. 

 

In total, 79 applications were received from Tallaght and 57 from Clondalkin.  Both Funds are well oversubscribed.

 

At present the applications are being examined for completeness in relation to information submitted.      The IAP Monitoring Committees recently agreed that assessment of these applications by an independent panel would take place in August.    An announcement in relation to successful applications will be made in early September 2004.
