Bursaries in the Arts

South Dublin County Council allocates bursaries

annually to support individual artists in pursuing

original projects, to develop a body of work or

for the participation in various events or courses

for the further development of their careers.

Five bursaries will be awarded, one in each of the

following categories: Visual Arts, Music,

Literature, Performing Arts and Architecture. The

maximum allocation for each bursary will be

€2000.

Artists must be resident or working in the South

Dublin County Administrative area, which

includes areas of Rathfarnham, Templeogue,

Tallaght, Clondalkin, Lucan, Palmerstown,

Rathcoole.
