South Dublin County Council is introducing of a “Pay by Volume” (Tag - A - Bin) system of refuse collection. This system, which comes into operation on
Monday 2nd February, requires participants to attach a bin tag to their grey bin when leaving it for collection. The Tags will cost €6 for a standard bin
and €3 for a small bin.

Bin tags will be available from Monday 26th January.

Households with no Environmental Charge arrears or who have entered into an arrangement to clear arrears are currently being issued with labels (to be
affixed to their bins) authorising them to use bin tags.

A range of annual tags have also been issued for a number of pre-paid categories which do not require a tag.

All households currently in arrears are being advised that they will have no bin collection service from Monday 2nd February until they clear the arrears.

Anyone wishing to avail of the service should now make immediate arrangements to pay their arrears. Payment can be made with credit card at telephone no. 1890 946690, or by calling to the offices at County Hall Tallaght or Civic Centre Clondalkin. Payments can be made online from 4th February at www.southdublin.ie
