Temporary Closure of Grand Canal Access Roads,

12^th Lock Clondalkin

By Public Notice in the Irish Independent on Wednesday 8^th October 2003, the Council notified the temporary road closure on the Northern and Southern Access Roads at the Grand Canal from the 12^th Lock at Newcastle Road Eastward for 250 metres to where the Northern Access Road meets with Hayden’s Lane.  This closure is to facilitate improvement works to the River Griffeen crossing of the Grand Canal.

Due to the nature of the works encountered on the crossing of the Grand Canal, South Dublin County Council has made a further order extending the closure of the Northern and Southern Access Roads until the 30^th January 2004.
