Planning and Development Acts, 2000 to 2002
Draft Development Plan 2004-2010
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Part II of the Planning and Development Act, 2000 (as amended) that the Council of the County of South Dublin, being the Planning Authority for the County, has prepared a Draft Development Plan for the period 2004-2010 for its functional area. The Draft Plan consists of a Written Statement and a set of Maps.
Written submissions or observations regarding the Draft Development Plan are hereby invited from members of the public and other interested parties during the period from Monday 8th December 2003 to Wednesday 25th February 2004 (5.00 pm). All written submissions and observations should be marked ‘Development Plan’ for the attention of Senior Planner, Development Plan Unit, Planning Department, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24. Submissions and observations may also be made by e-mail during the same period to the following address devplan@sdublincoco.ie and should state the name of the person making the submission, and where relevant, the body/organisation represented.
Please Note: Only written submissions and observations received by 5.00 pm on Wednesday 25th February 2004 and addressed as set out above will be considered before the making of the Plan. Submissions cannot be accepted in any other format or to any other postal address or e-mail address other than as set out above.
The Draft Development Plan 2004-2010 may be inspected at the following locations from Monday 8th December 2003 to Wednesday 25th February 2004:

(It should be noted that the Council’s Offices and Libraries will be closed over the Christmas Holiday period.)
The Draft Development Plan is available for purchase at the Planning Department. It is also available on the Council’s website www.southdublin.ie and in a computer readable CD format.
A series of Open Days where members of the public will have the opportunity to discuss the Draft Development Plan with Council staff will be held at a number of locations throughout the County in January/February 2004. Further public notices will be published in newspapers and on the Council’s website indicating the locations, dates and times.
