(1)   Traveller Accommodation Development comprising a Group Housing Scheme of 8 houses at Haydens Lane, Lucan

 (2)   Traveller Accommodation Development comprising a Group Housing Scheme of 5 houses at St. Aidans, Brookfield, Tallaght

Public Notification Procedure under Part 8 of the Planning and Development Regulations, 2001/2003

Proposed New Works

Pursuant to the requirements of the above, notice is hereby given of the proposal to construct the following Traveller Accommodation Developments:

1.            A Group Housing Scheme comprising 8 houses for occupation exclusively by members of the Travelling Community, with access road, boundary treatment and all necessary associated ancillary works on a site at Haydens Lane, Lucan.

2.            A Group Housing Scheme comprising 5 houses for occupation exclusively by members of the Travelling Community, with access road, boundary treatment and all necessary associated ancillary works on a site at St. Aidans, Brookfield, Tallaght.

Plans and Drawings of the proposed developments are on display in the headquarters of South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Town Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24 and Clondalkin Civic Offices, Civic Centre, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 during normal working hours until Tuesday, 20th May 2003.

Submissions or observations in respect of the proposed developments dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the areas in which the proposed developments would be situated may be made in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Housing Dept., Traveller Accomodation Unit, P.O. Box 4122, Town Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24 or by email only to mfagan@sdublincoco.ie (submissions or observations made to any other email address will not be considered) up to and including Tuesday, 3rd June 2003.

It should be noted that the Freedom of Information Act applies to all records held by South Dublin County Council.

Monday to Thursday             9.00am - 12.45pm

                                             2.00pm -  5.00pm

Friday                                 9.00am – 12.45pm

                                             2.00pm -   4.30pm
