South Dublin County Council invites entries for its

COMMUNITY AWARDS 2003

The Community Awards aim to acknowledge, promote and recognise the work of community and voluntary organisations within the administrative area of South Dublin County Council.

The Awards

. Overall winner will receive an award of €3,000

. Five additional Awards of €1 ,000

. Mayor's Special Award of €1 000

. Special Award to celebrate European Year of Disabled People

Entries may be made by ­

. Cultural groups                . Organisations for older people

. Youth groups                . Representative associations

. Sport and recreation groups.                       Environmental organisations

. Community development organisations

. Committees providing and managing community facilities

. Organisations of or for disabled people

Awards will be presented at a function organised by South Dublin County

Council on 5th June 2003
