Eco Week in South Dublin County 3rd April -8th April

Eco Week is organised by South Dublin County Council and takes place from Monday 3rd to Saturday 8th April. A week long series of activities, talks and walks has been arranged. Events will take place throughout the County.

The objective of Eco Week is to focus on and apply the principles of Reduce, Reuse & Recycle in the County. Activities include Composting workshops, Slim your Bin workshops, Eco shopping workshops and  Ecowalks. There are many activities for younger people including Energy workshops, Greening Young People, Bring Waste to Life and a Green fashion workshop.

South Dublin County Council is launching a ‘Walk/Cycle to Work Out’ on the 3rd April as part of its travel mobility policy – events and demonstrations will be held in County Hall throughout the week.
