South Dublin County Council Award Winners Again

South Dublin County Council Award Winners again at Eircom Innovation through Technology Awards at the Berkley Court Hotel, 26th January 2006.

South Dublin County Council received merit award in categories –

Government to Citizen – for the Customer Care project – a world-class customer care centre that logs, tracks, updates and workflows customer issues through to completion.

Innovative Organisation of the Year – for delivering a number of technological initiatives, from wireless hotspots to online channels for interaction with contractors, elected members, the press and the public.

Mr. Joe Horan, County Manager, won the overall category award for “Innovator of the Year”.
