In further promoting the Grand Canal in Clondalkin as a local amenity and tourist attraction, Clondalkin Partnership has engaged a Video production company to document The Canal Awareness Week, including some of the walks as part of a video production called “Our Canal”. This video production will take up to 3 months to complete and will capture any local activities/projects carried out in the last 5- 8years, that focused on developing the potential of the Canal as a local amentity, and will include any plans organisations such as Waterways Ireland have for its future development.
We expect this production, when completed, will compliment the educational and awareness guide and influence any future developments of the Grand Canal and it’s environs, in order that they have a positive impact on improving the quality of life of the residents of Clondalkin.
