On Friday 1^st July 2005, South Dublin County Council are celebrating the first year, of their Customer Care Centre.  To mark this occasion, there will be a presentation by the Mayor Robert Dowds and the Manager Mr Joe Horan, to the 20,000^th customer.  The dedicated, high quality, staff of the Customer Care Centre have dealt with almost 20,000 customers, this year alone, and this is mainly  due to an in-house development, by our IT Department.  The Customer Care Centre has all the relevant information at their fingertips, which means that queries are not diverted elsewhere in the organisation.
