Beautiful South Dublin County/Ãtha Cliath Theas go Deas
Beautiful South Dublin County/Ãtha Cliath Theas go Deas is a new look competition to make South Dublin County a better and greener place.
All over the County community groups, individuals and Resident Associations are getting together and creating a litter free, clean and well cared for place. South Dublin County Council is organising and sponsoring the awards this year.
“I am delighted to announce the new, innovative and vibrant competition,†said Mayor Robert Dowds, “We all want a cleaner, greener County. There are always a few dedicated hard workers in every road, community and commercial premise who pick litter, plant flowers and work at making this County a great place for all of us – Let’s join them this year.â€
This competition is open to everyone in South Dublin County – residents associations, community groups, shop fronts, industrial units and for the first time ever – there is a Best Street prize. The closing date for entries is the end of June. Judging will take place throughout the summer and the prizes will be announced in the autumn.
