Mayor Robert Dowds attends presentation to prizewinners based on the recent Tenant Survey Draw in County Hall Tallaght on Friday 10th June at 11.30.
In May 2004, South Dublin County Council launched its Accelerated Programme of Gas Fired Heating Systems countywide with the objective of combating fuel poverty and bringing all council houses to a common quality standard.
To date 1,100 systems have been installed countywide.
In order to evaluate the level of Customer Satisfaction with the Accelerated Central Heating Programme a Postal Survey and a Door to Door survey were carried out in March 2005. The surveys were produced by Housing Projects Section in conjunction with the Council’s Social Inclusion Unit.
A total of 310 survey questionnaires were returned completed. All of these participants were entered into a draw for €500 Gas Credit equal to approximately one years free gas usage. The draw took place on Wednesday 25th May at 2.30 pm. It was a computerised draw. The winner of the draw is:
