Background

The aim of the poster competition is to raise awareness of social and personal skills required by the children and young people to prevent substance misuse and abuse in the Tallaght Task Force community. Rather than focus on drug use/misuse the entrants are asked to convey an anti-drugs message in the context of healthy living. The criteria for winning took into account the themes and skills portrayed in the Social, Personal and Health Education (SPHE) Programme at post-primary level and the Walk Tall Programme at primary level.

The competition is funded by Tallaght Local Drugs Task Force and run by the Tallaght Drugs Education and Prevention sub-group of Tallaght Local Drugs Task Force.
