NOTICE TO HOUSEHOLDERS
REFUSE COLLECTION SERVICE
BANK HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENTS
There will be no refuse collection service in South Dublin County Council's administrative area on Bank Holiday Monday, 25th October 2004.
Collection will take place instead on Saturday 23rd October 2004.
Refuse should be left out for collection before 7.30 a.m. on collection day.
Please ensure that the roadway is kept clear of parked cars on refuse collection day so as to allow refuse freighters to gain access.
Householders are requested to be particularly vigilant in the run up to Halloween because of
the danger of vandalism to wheel bins. Accordingly, your bin should not be left out overnight.
Please note that in accordance with the bye-laws governing the presentation of waste, the lid of
the bin must be fully closed, as failure to do so will result in non collection of the bin.
The Council will not be responsible for bins which do not empty completely due to overcompaction of refuse.
