Mayor Robert Dowds will greet a delegation from Italy that has a special interest in Arts and Youth Projects, on Friday 24th September at 12 noon.
The organisation is called Sonora, Sonora was formed in 1997 as a local music co-ordination project and is dedicated to the promotion and fostering of all musical resources in the Province of Ravenna, Italy.
They hope to foster partnerships with individual arts projects, arts support agencies and arts funders in Dublin. They hope that this visit will lead to collaborations and exchanges between their organisation and like minded people in Ireland. They are funded by the City Council of Ravenna and by Ravenna Provincial Council. Representatives of those two organisations are making the trip with the Sonora representatives;

Youth Policies - Equal Opportunities - Voluntary Work/Service - Peace Ravenna City Council Councillor: Miss Lisa Dradi
These people have a specific interest in youth arts and affairs and are interested in meeting council officials and elected representatives who would have similar responsibilities
They are scheduled to meet the Mayor of South Dublin on Friday the 24th at 12.00 p.m. in the Council Chamber
