“An Taoiseach Bertie Ahern TD will officially open South Dublin Senior Citizens Club in the presence of Mayor Maire Ardagh on Thursday 22nd April 2004 at 4.15pm at their facility in An Post Club, Kiltipper Road, Tallaght.”

“South Dublin Senior Citizens Club (SDSCC) is a first of its kind facility designed to encourage and support Senior Citizens with active programmes including a Gym, line dancing, swimming (off site), aerobics, sit fit, arts and crafts, pitch and putt, bowls, curling, darts, table tennis and assorted board games.”

“The SDSCC has over 1000 members using the facility each month all Free of Charge.”

“This Club is being watched by organisations from within and outside Ireland and has testimonials from Doctors and other Medical Professionals as to the benefits of the active membership of this club.”
