South Dublin Launches National Tree Week

National Tree Week was officially launched by the Mayor, Councillor Maire Ardagh and An Tanaiste, Mary Harney on 6th March 2004.  A Tree Planting Ceremony was held at Camac Valley Tourist Park, Naas Rd where the first tree was planted.

Members of the Tree Council and members of South Dublin County Council’s Park Department were also present.
