Payment of Bin Charges to South Dublin County Council -
In order to facilitate and provide a more efficient method for our Customers to contact us and make payments ;-
3 new channels of communication have been opened
· One is the additional email address refusecollection@sdublincoco.ie
· Another is the Text message facility on 086 1731707 ( Text Bin followed by space followed by your message )
· The Environmental Services page on our website now helps customers to access information by using the facility “Frequently asked Questionsâ€. This details all the information that customers require in a simple Question and Answer format. It also provides a facility for comments/ complaints.
Customers may also contact us by telephoning or calling to the Offices of the Council at County Hall Tallaght and Civic Centre Clondalkin
Customers are also making payment by Credit Card
Staff are dealing with a huge volume of business on a daily basis.

To cope with the high volumes, additional staff have been assigned to telephones and counters to assist with the demands in this area. Obviously, the logistics of dealing with this number of enquiries is causing delays. The Council would like to assure Customers that we will deal with all enquiries within as short a time frame as possible and Thank them for their patience.
The Council is pleased that payments are still coming in on daily basis, and the response of our customers in supporting the charges and the recycling initiatives to date.
Today Collection figures have exceeded One Million Euro
