Vehicles impounded – Drivers caught illegally transporting waste material through the County

 

 

Three vehicles were impounded by South Dublin County Council's Waste Management Officers, working in conjunction with the Garda Traffic Division as part of the ongoing crackdown on the illegal transportation of waste through our county. The vehicles were stopped on the Tallaght By-Pass at the end of last week. Prosecutions will follow, checkpoints will continue and vehicles caught will be impounded as the Council continues to enforce the Waste Management legislation to its fullest.
