Paint the feeling- Artwork is welcome from everyone

 

Get painting! This year for the first time, Art Exhibitions will be held as part of the cultural programme of the 2003 Special Olympics World Summer Games. 

 

South Dublin Libraries are proud to be part of this unique event, which provides everyone with an exciting opportunity to exhibit their artwork..  The closing date for submissions is May 30th and all entries will be displayed for the month of June in the following venues: Ballyroan, Castletymon, Clondalkin, Tallaght, and Lucan libraries, South Dublin County Council public offices in Tallaght, the Civic Theatre and the Winter Garden Display Area in the Square.  Children’s art will be exhibited in Tesco in the Square.

 

 

The exhibition will be launched by Mayor, Councillor Jim Daly in the host town Lucan in June.

 

The theme of the art exhibition is Share the Feeling. If you would like to contribute a piece to your local exhibition, or if you require further information please contact your local library.
