Launch of South Dublin County Council’s Comhairle na nOg Newsletter

“ Young Voice “

on Wednesday 21^st May at Clondalkin Civic Centre

at 4.00pm

Mayor Jim Daly of South Dublin County Council will launch the Newsletter which has been compiled and designed  by the children with the support of staff of South Dublin County Council .

The Members of Comhairle led by its Cathaoirleach Ms. Mary O Brien were selected to represent their area at a Childrens Consultation Seminar in Aras Chronain, Clondalkin in March 2002.

Eighteen young people were selected, each Member represents on of the five Electoral Area of South Dublin.

Seven of these attended Dail na nOg at its meeting in the Mansion House in October last year.

“Young Voice”  identifies issues that Comhairles Members feel are important issues for the Children of the County

Mayor Jim Daly has described the initiative as” exciting worthwhile and extremely innovative”
