St Marks Community Garden, Clondalkin
In the midst of a concrete jungle lays a little piece of calm and serenity. An area that was previously a derelict, dumped in site and an eyesore has been completely transformed. It’s a testament to the hard work that the residents have put in, that the community garden is now a beacon of light and a great source of pride in the local community. It is a prime example of what can be achieved by a motivated and hard working group in this day and age. The Garden is also educational as children and adults learn by doing.
