Notice of Variation of the South Dublin County Development Plan 2004 2010

N7 (NAAS ROAD) / TAY LANE JUNCTION (VARIATION NO. 6)

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 13 (8)(a) of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended) that on 11th May 2009 the Council of the County of South Dublin, being the Planning Authority for the County, made the following variation to the South Dublin County Development Plan 2004-2010:-

Written Statement

Insert a new Specific Local Objective No.126 - N7 (Naas Road) / Tay Lane Junction Improvements

To provide for an easy-flow exit from the N7 (Naas Road) at its junction with Tay Lane in the interest of supporting the significant social and economic services that Tay Lane provides to the Newcastle / Rathcoole and Saggart areas.

In accordance with the provisions of Article 13K of the Planning and Development (Strategic Environmental Assessment) Regulations (S.I. No 436 of 2004) the Council determined that a Strategic Environmental Assessment was not required in relation to the Variation.

A copy of the South Dublin County Development Plan 2004-2010 as varied, may be inspected at the following locations:

  • Planning Department, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24:

9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 9.00 to 4.30 p.m. Friday.

  • South Dublin County Council, Civic Centre, Clondalkin, Dublin 22:

10.00 a.m. to 12.45 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. Monday to Friday

  • Local Branch Libraries at Ballyroan, Castletymon, Whitechurch, Clondalkin and Lucan, during normal opening hours for each Branch Library.
  • The Councils website www.southdublin.ie.
