The Farmers Market will be officially opened on Friday, 22nd May, 2009 at 1.00pm, by the Mayor of South Dublin County, Marie Corr.
The market was successfully re-launched in Chambers Square on the 22nd of April. It is located between the Library and Civic theatre beside the main car park of the Square Shopping Centre. The market operates every Friday from 11am - 4pm with a wide selection of meats, vegetables, fruit, breads, cheeses, hot foods, local crafts and much more, to choose from. Currently there are over twenty stalls but with growing popularity this number is set to increase.
Offering fresh produce at affordable prices the market offers the people of South Dublin an exciting and diverse alternative to the local supermarket.
