All bands in the final will receive a professionally produced video compilation featuring one track from each of the groups. The winner will also receive 1000 towards studio time or equipment. The competition judges are Leslie Dowdall, John Burke and Shane OFearghail

Leslie Dowdall: One of Irelands best known singer songwriters released her first album 'No Guilt, No Guile' in 1997. As a result, she won the 1997 'Best Solo Female' artist at the Heineken/Hot Press Music Awards. She was also nominated in the similar category at the IRMA Music Awards. Leslie was also the voice of In Tua Nua the band that fused celtic traditions with rock for seven years.

John Burke: Tallaght based musician and songwriter associated with An Emotional Fish.

Shane O Fearghail, formerly lead singer and songwriter with The Brand, who departed the group to follow a solo career. He is currently promoting his new album 'The Watcher & the Comet'.
