Connect iWalk Launch

Visitors to parks in South Dublin County will be able to enjoy the company of a virtual guide thanks to an innovative new project by Connect & Parks Department.
The first in a series of exciting Connect iWalks for South Dublin County is now available for download. These audio and video podcasts, will be available for download to MP3 players or iPods.
When loaded onto your iPod or Mp3 player, they will offer a walking commentary as users follow a specified route through the parks. The new Connect iWalks for Corkagh Park is filled with stories and information about Corkagh Park, it's history and it's many amenities.
Corkagh Park is one of the most important treasures in South Dublin, with its 300 acres immediately adjacent to theNaas Road and stretching almost a mile to the village of Clondalkin.
Visitors to the Park can enjoy the arboretum, playground, rose garden, putt and take fisheries and many different sporting facilities as well as historical buildings.
Plans are afoot to create iWalk podcasts for other parks and attractions in South County Dublin keep an eye on the Connect website.
