SOUTH DUBLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
PRE-DRAFT PUBLIC CONSULTATION FOR
PROPOSED FORTUNESTOWN LANE / GARTERS LANE LOCAL AREA PLAN
Planning and Development Acts 2000-2006
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Part II, Section 20(1) of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended) that South Dublin County Council, being the Planning Authority for the County, intends to prepare a Local Area Plan for the Fortunestown Lane/Garters Lane area of Saggart. This Area Plan arises from the adoption by the Council of Variation No. 2 of the County Development Plan.
Information
An Issues Paper for general consultation purposes / public comment and a map identifying the Plan area may be inspected at the following locations:
- Planning Department, County Hall, Tallaght (9.00am - 4.30pm)
- Clondalkin Civic Office (9.00am 1.00pm and 2pm 4.00pm)
- All branches of South Dublin County Libraries during library opening hours
from Monday April 14th 2008 to Friday 23rd May 2008 (inclusive). The Issues Paper and map may also be viewed on the Councils website at www.southdublin.ie
A public Information Day will be held in respect of the proposed Plan during which staff from the Council will be available to answer queries in relation to it. The Information Day will be held on Thursday 8th May 2008 between 11am and 2pm and 5pm and 8pm at Citywest Shopping Centre, Fortunestown Lane.
Submissions
Written submissions or observations in relation to the proposed Local Area Plan made to the Planning Authority at the address below during the six week period from Monday 14th April 2008 to 4pm on Friday 23rdMay 2008will be taken into consideration before the making of the Local Area Plan. Submissions or observations cannot be accepted in any other format or to any other address other than as set out below:
