Temporary Closure of a section of the M50

In order to facilitate the installation of overhead gantry signs on the M50 as part of the M50 upgrade works the following sections of roads will be temporarily closed

  1. M50 northbound and southbound carriageways N4-N7 from 12.00 midnight on Thursday 20th March to 4.00am on Friday 21st March 2008.

Alternative route southbound via M50 Palmerstown, N4 exit ramp, N4 Lucan Road Westbound, R113 Fonthill Road North Southbound, R113 Fonthill Road South Southbound, R134 Nangor Road, R113 Fonthill Road South Southbound, N7 Naas Road Eastbound, N7 Redcow-M50 entry slip southbound.

Alternative route northbound via M50-N7 Redcow exit slip, N7 Naas Road Westbound, R113 Fonthill Road South Northbound, R134 Nangor Road, R113 Fonthill Road South Northbound, R113 Fonthill Road North Northbound, N4 Lucan Road Eastbound, N4-M50 entry slip Northbound.

2.M50 northbound and southbound carriageways Tallaght-N7 from 12.00 midnight on Thursday 27th March to 4.00am on Friday 28th March 2008

Alternative route northbound via M50 Balrothery N81 Tallaght Bypass exit slip, N81 Tallaght Bypass Westbound, R113 Belgard Road Northbound, N7 Naas Road Eastbound, M50 Redcow-M50 Entry slip, M50 Northbound

Alternative route southbound via M50 Redcow-Naas Road exit slip, N7 Naas Road Westbound, R113 Belgard Road Southbound, N81 Tallaght Bypass eastbound, M50 Balrothery-M50 Entry Slip, M50 Southbound.

Any person interested may lodge an objection with the Senior Executive Officer, Roads Department, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Town Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24 not later than 5.00 p.m. on Tuesday 4th March 2008.
