M50 MOTORISTS WARNED TO EXPECT SOME DISRUPTION OVERNIGHT DURING THE NEXT TWO WEEKS

15 February 2008: South Dublin County Council would like to advise motorists using the M50 in the vicinity of the N4 (Palmerstown) Interchange and N7 (Red Cow) Interchange that there may be some disruption to traffic flows overnight during the next two weeks due to road surfacing & tie-in works scheduled to take place at these locations overnight.

As part of this programme, motorists should note the following works scheduled for this coming weekend :

- At the N4 (Palmerstown) Interchange, the southbound exit will be closed from mid-night on Saturday 16th February until 10am on Sunday 17th February. Motorists are asked to U-turn at the N7 (Red Cow) Interchange or use an alternative route.

- At the N7 Interchange, the two dedicated lanes into the city will be reduced down to one lane from 11am Friday 15th February until 6am on Monday 18th February

Motorists are asked to allow extra time for their journey and slow down and follow the temporary diversion signage in place.
