Prize Giving Ceremony
for
South Dublin County Libraries Childrens Book Festival 2007 Writing, Colouring and
Design a Bookmark Competitions
Lucan Library,
Tuesday 20th November at 4pm
As part of its annual Childrens Book Festival, South Dublin Libraries ran competitions for children of all ages:
Writing Competition for children aged between 5 and 12
Colouring Competition for the Under 6s
Design a Bookmark Competition to choose a local winner who would represent South Dublin County Libraries at the National Final.
The winning children will be presented with their prizes by Mayor Billy Gogarty at Lucan Library at 4pm on Tuesday 20th November, which is also Universal Childrens Day. This prize-giving ceremony is always a great photo opportunity, particularly as the winning entries came from all over South Dublin County.
